Friends & Foes
Friends & Foes (v3.0.9, by Faboslav) is the pack’s implementation of the mobs Mojang put to a community vote and then never added — the Glare, Copper Golem, Rascal, and Moobloom from various Minecraft Live mob votes, plus a set of original “vanilla-like” additions: the Crab, Iceologer, Illusioner-adjacent Player Illusion, Mauler, Tuff Golem, and Wildfire. Rather than porting the mob-vote losers as-is, Faboslav expanded each with fuller mechanics and structures: Copper Golems can generate as a standalone structure or inside Ancient Cities and oxidize lightning rods over time; Crabs spawn in small groups (2–4) and can be ridden on shoulders like parrots; Glares are small light-seeking mobs that can grief certain blocks if enabled; Iceologers and Illusioners get their own cabin/shack/training-ground structures and can appear in raids; Maulers are aggressive desert/badlands/savanna predators (spawn weights 8/16/32 respectively — most common in savanna); Tuff Golems can spawn inside strongholds; and Wildfires are guardians of a dedicated “Citadel” structure.
This server’s friendsandfoes.json has every one of these features enabled, including all the bonus generated structures (Copper Golem area + Ancient City variant, Iceologer cabin, Illusioner shack and training grounds, Citadel, and — via the Beekeeper Hut addon config living in this same file — a beekeeper villager profession and beekeeper area structure). Two dedicated addon jars extend Friends & Foes further in this pack: Flowery Mooblooms (one Moobloom recolor per flower type) and Beekeeper Hut (the beekeeper structure/profession itself), both by the same author and both reading their settings from this shared config file rather than one of their own.
