The Scarred Night

A seasonal Halloween event chapter (available roughly October 20 – mid-November). Framed as “The Crows’ Guide to Destroy the Scarecrows,” it’s a short, story-driven questline that teaches pumpkin-carving mechanics and ends with a boss, Sir Scar Crow — plus a Mythic version for endgame players. Walkthrough (Crow’s Guide, page by page)

  • I feel something in the air… — Play during the Halloween event window to start.
  • Getting ready to Carve (Page 1) — Get a Pumpkin.
  • The Tools (Page 2) — Get Shears, then place the pumpkin and use shears on it to carve it.
  • Carving! / Lights up! (Pages 3–4) — Combine your carved pumpkin with a torch to make a Jack o’ Lantern (light is what brings scarecrows to life).
  • What We Know (Page 5) — Lore on the leader: it has a metal hook on its left arm; you’ll need to try different face carvings until the right one works.
  • Work Ain’t Easy (Page 6) — Make a Botanist Workbench to re-cut Jack o’ Lanterns into better designs.
  • Fancy Carving (Page 7) — Carve a fancy design at the workbench.
  • Summoning the Bastard (Page 8) — Build the specified structure and try carved Jack o’ Lanterns on it until the leader appears.
  • Sir Scar Crow (boss) — A cowardly ranged boss that flees and attacks from distance while summoning undead. Defeating him rewards his weapon, The Scarred Night (stolen back from him by the Crows).
  • Sir Scar Crow (Mythic) — Endgame version. Requires finishing the Void’s Invasion campaign and unlocking Mythic Bosses. Same limited seasonal window. Has a 20% chance to drop the “Pumpmourne” appearance.

Tips

  • This chapter is time-limited — only playable during the Halloween event window each year.
  • Expect trial and error on the carving face; that’s intended per the guide (“try all carvings until it works”).
  • Come back for the Mythic fight only after clearing Void’s Invasion and unlocking Mythic Bosses.
