Dark Paintings
Dark Paintings (Darkhax) is a small, single-purpose mod adding “a variety of new paintings to the game” — 100 lang entries, which for a paintings mod means roughly that many individual painting artworks (each painting typically needs just a title/author lang entry). It’s a pure wall-art expansion: more canvas options for interior decoration than vanilla’s fixed painting pool, no new mechanics. Pairs with the same author’s DarkUtilities, also present in this modpack.
No config file ships for it here, and there’s nothing to tune — paintings are placed the same way vanilla paintings are (canvas + item frame-like placement), just from a much larger art pool.
How you’ll use it here
Use Dark Paintings to fill wall space in interiors with far more art variety than vanilla’s fixed pool — roughly 100 individual artworks to choose from. Place them exactly like vanilla paintings (on a wall, item-frame-style), and use them to give galleries, halls, and living spaces distinct character instead of the same handful of default canvases.
