Stoneworks

Stoneworks (by Fuzs) is Twigs’ stone-focused counterpart — “Vanilla stone types in plenty of variations for all your building needs” — and it delivers on that with 582 lang entries. Every vanilla stone type (andesite, diorite, granite, deepslate, etc.) is expanded into a full cut-stone family: bricks, pavers, pillars, plates, shingles, and tiles, each of those further split into slab/stairs/wall forms. Just the andesite subset alone accounts for 20 distinct blocks (bricks, brick slab/stairs/wall, pavers, paver slab/stairs/wall, pillar, plates, plate slab/stairs/wall, shingles, shingle slab/stairs/wall, tiles, tile slab/stairs/wall) — multiplied across every base stone type in the game.

The one config toggle, stoneworks-common.toml, is vanilla_variants_in_creative_tab = true — it controls whether the plain vanilla stone-variant blocks Stoneworks reuses/re-exposes also show up cluttering its dedicated creative tab (left on here). This is the mod to reach for when a build needs stone texture variety — roofing (shingles), flooring (pavers/plates), or decorative trim (pillars) — beyond vanilla’s bricks-and-cobblestone options.

What does it add? It expands every vanilla stone type (andesite, diorite, granite, deepslate, etc.) into a full cut-stone family — bricks, pavers, pillars, plates, shingles, and tiles, each further split into slab/stairs/wall forms — for 582 lang entries in total.

When should I reach for it in a build? When a build needs stone texture variety beyond vanilla’s bricks-and-cobblestone: roofing (shingles), flooring (pavers/plates), or decorative trim (pillars).

Is there anything to configure? One toggle in stoneworks-common.toml: vanilla_variants_in_creative_tab = true, which controls whether the plain vanilla stone-variant blocks it re-exposes also clutter its dedicated creative tab (left on here).

How does it relate to Twigs and Decorative Blocks? It’s Twigs’ stone-focused counterpart and complements both — covering the cut-stone end of the building-material spectrum.
