YUNG’s Better Desert Temples
YUNG’s Better Desert Temples (jar YungsBetterDesertTemples-1.20-Fabric-3.0.3.jar, by YUNGNICKYOUNG & Tera) redesigns the vanilla desert pyramid — which in vanilla is little more than a decorative shell around one TNT-trapped loot room — into a larger, more elaborate temple with expanded rooms and puzzle elements.
Server config (config/betterdeserttemples-fabric-1_20.toml) sets disableVanillaPyramids = true, so vanilla desert pyramids no longer generate at all — every desert pyramid players find is this mod’s version. It also enables applyMiningFatigue = true, meaning parts of the temple apply a Mining Fatigue effect to discourage brute-forcing through walls instead of solving the temple’s traps/puzzles legitimately.
