EMI Ores

EMI Ores (emi_ores, v1.2, by Abbie) adds ore-generation information directly into EMI’s item lookup: check an ore item and see where it actually spawns in the world — biome restrictions, Y-level ranges, vein characteristics — without alt-tabbing to a wiki or JEI-style worldgen viewer mod. In a pack with dozens of modded ores stacked across vanilla, Tech Reborn, Modern Industrialization, and Industrial Revolution (later reconciled by Almost Unified), knowing where to dig for a specific material is exactly the kind of lookup this closes.

It’s a minimal addon — this install’s emi_ores-client.json is a 33-byte stub, so it’s running effectively stock/default settings.

  • Why does it matter in this pack? With dozens of modded ores stacked across vanilla, Tech Reborn, Modern Industrialization, and Industrial Revolution, it closes the “where do I dig for this material?” question without a wiki.
  • Is it configurable? Effectively no — its config file here is a 33-byte stub, so it runs on stock/default settings.
