The Art of Transmogrification
A short cosmetic chapter covering transmogrification — magic that changes the shape of any item (weapons and armor included) without altering its function. It’s purely cosmetic and gives no stat benefit. See Accessories & Enchanting.
Walkthrough
- The Art of Transmogrification — Craft a Transmogrification Table. This magic is powered by Amethyst, so you’ll need some each time you transform an item.
- Transmog an item — No items are consumed, but to change an item’s appearance into another you must own the desired item (the one whose look you’re copying).
- The Illusion of Nothing — To hide an armor piece or weapon entirely, use a Void Fragment as the transmoggable material.
Tips
- Because nothing is consumed, you can freely restyle gear as your look changes — just keep some Amethyst on hand.
- Great for keeping a favorite endgame weapon’s stats while showing off a rarer skin (or hiding a slot completely).
