Powah!

Powah! is the pack’s accessible energy mod: generators, batteries, and cables that wire into whichever tech tree you’re actually playing (see Tech & Automation Mods). This chapter takes you from crafting the basic electric parts up through the six machinery tiers and the various generators. There’s an in-game book that explains the mod if you get stuck.

Walkthrough

  1. Basic parts — Craft Dielectric Paste (the “glue” for electric parts), Dielectric Rods, and the Wrench (rotate machines, configure cables, link rods to Energizing Orbs).
  2. Secondary parts — Capacitors (combine two for a large one, or cut one into two tiny ones), Thermo Plates, and Dielectric Casing — the last is in every machine recipe and upgrade (“heart of the machine”).
  3. Energizing setup — Energizing Rods energize items held in an Energizing Orb; higher-tier materials need more power. This is Powah’s core crafting mechanic.
  4. Tiers — Machinery upgrades through six tiers via higher-tier capacitors: Basic → Hardened → Blazing → Niotic → Spirited → Nitro (final).

Generators

  • Furnator — burns fuel (coal/wood); higher tier = more power + efficiency.
  • Thermo Generator — heat source below, water to cool; higher tier = more power.
  • Magmator — runs on lava.
  • Solar Panel — daytime power; needs a Photoelectric Pane, and a Lens of Ender lets it absorb sunlight through blocks.
  • Reactor — built from Uraninite (needs 36 blocks to form); cooled by water or Dry Ice; the most involved generator.

Storage & transfer

  • Energy Cells — bulk batteries that buffer and transfer power.
  • Ender Cells — wireless energy transfer between cells sharing a channel number (each needs an Energy Cell inside).
  • Energy Hoppers charge items in a chest without an Energizing Orb; Energy Dischargers drain charged machinery and redirect via cables.

Notable rewards & tips

  • Player Transmitter — charges items in your inventory/armor/trinkets (“walking battery”).
  • Binding Cards link a Player Transmitter to machinery for wireless charging (same dimension); the cross-dimension version requires using a binding card on an Enderman first.
  • The Player Aerial Pearl is made by using an Aerial Pearl on a Zombie/Husk.
  • Fun extra: Charged Snowballs cause a lightning strike on impact.

Anticipated questions

  • Which tech tree does Powah work with? All of them — it’s a generic energy provider, meant to power Create, Tech Reborn, Modern Industrialization, etc.
  • Fastest reliable power? A Reactor for scale, or Solar/Thermo/Furnator for simpler setups; upgrade tiers with capacitors as you go.
  • How do I charge my armor/trinkets on the move? A Player Transmitter + Binding Card wirelessly charges your worn gear.
