Powah!
Powah! (v5.0.11) is the pack’s dedicated power-generation-and-transmission mod, meant to be the accessible “just make FE” option that plugs into whichever tech tree a player is actually running — Tech Reborn, Modern Industrialization, Create, or the AE2 network. Its main generator line is the Furnator (a fuel-burning generator with seven tiers — starter, basic, hardened, blazing, niotic, spirited, nitro — scaling from 1,000 FE capacity and 4 FE/t transfer up to 2,000,000 FE capacity and 3,000 FE/t transfer), alongside a Thermo Generator that produces power from heat-source/coolant pairs placed below and above it (lava gives 1,000 heat, a Magma Block 800, and Powah’s own Blazing Crystal Block a much richer 2,800) and a Magmator burning lava directly. Its endgame Reactor and world-generated Uraninite ore (spawned in poor/normal/dense vein tiers, plus Dry Ice veins) point toward a nuclear power stage past the basic generators.
Powah has its own Quest Book chapter (powah.snbt, 351 quests, icon powah:thermo_generator_nitro) sitting at position 3 of 7 — ahead of both AE2 and Create — with its very first quest handing out Powah’s own in-game guide book and captioned “The book will help you understand the mod if needed.” Early quest titles (“Ready to Power?”, “Electrician’s First Job”, “Electric Glue”, “Initial Parts”, “Electrician’s Right Hand”) frame it explicitly as the pack’s first stop for basic electricity, before players branch into the heavier trees.
Anticipated questions
Q: What is Powah! for? A: It’s the pack’s dedicated power-generation-and-transmission mod — the accessible “just make FE” option that plugs into whichever tech tree you’re running (Tech Reborn, Modern Industrialization, Create, or the AE2 network). See Storage & Applied Energistics — Getting Started.
Q: What are its main generators? A: The Furnator (fuel-burning, seven tiers scaling from 1,000 FE / 4 FE/t up to 2,000,000 FE / 3,000 FE/t), a Thermo Generator (heat-source/coolant pairs), and a Magmator burning lava; its endgame points to a Reactor and world-generated Uraninite ore.
Q: Where does it sit in progression? A: Early — Quest Book position 3 of 7, ahead of both AE2 and Create, framed as the pack’s first stop for basic electricity (“Ready to Power?”, “Electrician’s First Job”) before branching into the heavier trees.
Q: Does it tie into AE2? A: Yes — it’s built to make FE that plugs into the AE2 network among the other trees.
