DynamicTrim

By Andrew6rant and Bawnorton — “Dynamically render Armour Trim patterns!” A rendering-layer companion to AllTheTrims: vanilla trim patterns are baked to specific armor textures/models, which breaks down once AllTheTrims allows trimming any armor piece (including modded armor with non-vanilla models). DynamicTrim generates the trim overlay dynamically at render time instead, so trims display correctly across the pack’s huge range of custom armor sets (Wizard robes, Paladin plate, Death Knight sets, etc.) rather than only vanilla’s diamond/iron/netherite armor shapes.

Purely a rendering fix with no player-facing config or gameplay content of its own.

What does DynamicTrim do? By Andrew6rant and Bawnorton, it generates armor trim overlays dynamically at render time instead of relying on vanilla’s baked trim textures/models, so trims display correctly across the pack’s custom armor.

Why is it needed? Vanilla trim patterns are baked to specific armor textures/models, which breaks down once AllTheTrims allows trimming any armor piece — including modded armor with non-vanilla models. DynamicTrim is the rendering-layer companion that makes that work.

Which armor benefits from it? The pack’s huge range of custom armor sets — Wizard robes, Paladin plate, Death Knight sets, and more — rather than only vanilla’s diamond/iron/netherite armor shapes.

Does it add any gameplay content or config? No. It’s purely a rendering fix with no player-facing config or gameplay content of its own.
