AdventureZ

AdventureZ (v1.4.20, by Globox_Z) is a large exploration-and-monsters mod that ships its own in-game Patchouli guidebook covering roughly thirty new creatures, bosses, and items. Its cast spans overworld wildlife (Deer, Iguana, Mammoth, Desert Rhino, Enderwarthog), Nether threats (Piglin Beast, Blaze Guardian, Shaman, Orc), and a set of structured end-game encounters: the Amethyst Golem (spawns from generating geodes), the Blackstone Golem, The Eye, and a tameable/rideable Dragon.

The two headline bosses are wired into this pack’s level-gated boss roster: the Blackstone Golem at character level 25 and The Eye at level 50. Per the guidebook’s own lore text, the Blackstone Golem is “the most deadliest creature in the world of Minecraft” — summoned at a Golem Altar, and on death it splits into smaller Mini Blackstone Golems that can subsequently be found wandering basalt deltas. The Eye “will drain any energy you got until you are a dead corpse” and is summoned at a dedicated shrine; killing it grants a “fame” effect required to hatch the mod’s signature Dragon egg (built in a nest at the player’s base, fed Orc skin or raw meat to grow through two size stages, eventually saddleable and — once large enough — capable of carrying a chest and breathing fire).

This server’s adventurez.json5 leaves most spawn weights at their defaults but deliberately disables two mobs outright — the Nightmare (nightmare_spawn_weight: 0) and the Enderwarthog (enderwarthog_spawn_weight: 0) — while keeping golem summoning, Eye summoning, dragon hatching, and the various loot/enchant tooltip features all enabled. (Note: this pack’s own “Nightmare” fire-steed is actually supplied by Mythic Mounts, not AdventureZ — the two mods happen to share the name for unrelated mobs, which is presumably why this config disables AdventureZ’s version.)

Anticipated questions

Q: What level should I be before fighting AdventureZ’s bosses? A: This pack gates the Blackstone Golem at character level 25 and The Eye at level 50 (soft requirements, not hard-blocked). See Progression & Level Caps.

Q: How do I get the tameable Dragon? A: Kill The Eye to gain a “fame” effect required to hatch the Dragon egg; build a nest at your base and feed the hatchling Orc skin or raw meat to grow it through two size stages, until it’s saddleable and — once large enough — can carry a chest and breathe fire.

Q: What happens when I kill the Blackstone Golem? A: It splits into smaller Mini Blackstone Golems, which can afterward be found wandering basalt deltas. It’s summoned at a Golem Altar.

Q: Why can’t I find the Nightmare or Enderwarthog from this mod? A: This server’s adventurez.json5 disables both (nightmare_spawn_weight: 0, enderwarthog_spawn_weight: 0). The pack’s Nightmare fire-steed instead comes from Mythic Mounts.
