Main Story — Void’s Invasion

The core campaign. S’kellak, the Eternal Flame and creator of all things, has grown weak, and The Void is breaching every dimension, twisting once-serene creatures into aberrations. As the flameborn champion you fight the Void’s heralds across the Overworld, Nether, and End, each a recommended-level boss, then confront the Void’s essence and its faceless herald. Beating the first boss unlocks 11–50 leveling; finishing this campaign is the prerequisite for The Hasturian Era. Bosses have their own level — see the boss-level note below.

  • Gauntlet, First Herald of the Nether (Rec. Lv 15) — Fallen watcher of the Nether, locked in a monolithic prison; shatter its eye to release the corrupted being. Found in the Nether.
  • The Night Lich, King of All Kings (Rec. Lv 10, ranged-friendly) — Resurrected kings of Ly’rell fused into one. Dwells in colder Overworld biomes atop a broken tower. Use Soul Stars (dropped by undead) to locate it — the quest asks you to obtain and use at least 4. Defeating it unlocks 11–50 Leveling.
  • The Decaying King (Rec. Lv ~20, melee-friendly) — Cursed Nether king wielding the Darkin Blade. Use a Moonstone Compass to find the Decaying Kingdom; can also be re-summoned via Withered Demon Hearts → Demonite Chunks. (Deep-dive in The Nether.)
  • Jean, The Fallen Dragon (Rec. Lv 20) — The corrupted Ender Dragon. To open the End portal you need 12 of the 16 unique eyes scattered across Overworld and Nether. (See To The End for the eye hunt.)
  • The Blackstone Golem (Rec. Lv 25) — Nether’s final Herald, summoned via a ritual: a 9×9 Blackstone platform with Chiseled Polished Blackstone Holders one block out from each side, then a Gilded Blackstone shard on each. Full ritual detail lives in The Nether.
  • Conjunctivius, Watcher of the Prison (Rec. Lv 30) — Giant eye in its Lair deep in the Prison. Requires a Vine Rune from the Promenade of the Condemned. See The Prison.
  • The Remains of an Old Champion (Rec. Lv 35) — Possessed skeleton in an underground Overworld grave; alternates shielding stances with attacks.
  • Obsidilith, Pillar of the Void (Rec. Lv 40) — Living monolith in the End; summon by using an eye of ender atop its floating platform. (Also in To The End.)
  • The Eldritch Eye (Rec. Lv 50) — The corrupted “Ender Eye.” Build an Eye Shrine (5×5 obsidian base, centered 3×3 crying obsidian, an end rod on each corner) in the End to summon it.

After the heralds fall, S’kellak grants the Molten Core (a vessel needing the essences of ancient beings) and the corruption arc begins:

  • Essence quests — Defeat side-bosses to charge the Molten Core: Baphomet (Demonic Essence, summoned via the Book of Shadows ritual — progress Bewitchment first), the Fallen Icon (Essence of Glory, via Essence of Eventide on the Old Moon Altar), and the Ghost of Captain Cornelia (Essence of Wrath, summoned with the Shell Horn in the Ice Maze).
  • End corruption / new dimensions — Visit the Primordial Abyss and the Hasturian Wastes, purge Aberrations (their hits stack corruption on you), and gather Etyr ingots (corruption-resistant metal) from Spire Spikes.
  • Null, Void’s Essence — Summon in the End’s rift with a pedestal + two End essences (ender pearl, end crystal). Null teleports whenever hit and spawns minions; never stop attacking or it heals. Beating it unlocks Mythic Challenges.
  • Forge your Artifact — S’kellak tells you to forge a better weapon (the S’kellak’s Forge questline) before trapping a herald.
  • Magus, the Archmage — Leader of the Hex who made a pact with the Void. Craft a Hexblade offering, kill Magisters for a Hexblade + Prismatic Pearl, use the Hexblade on their portal to reach the Glass Ocean, then a Prismatic Pearl to summon him. His barrier is weak to certain elements and to Smite.
  • Path to Corruption — Forge The Dreadtide, gather 4 Ominous Eyes from the All-Seeing Eyes (about 1 in 125 Aberrations is mutated and may also drop them), and perform the Ritual of Damnation in the Primordial Abyss.
  • The Faceless One — The root of corruption, summoned in the Primordial Abyss by breaking an aberration heart at the center of its ritual. Weaken it so S’kellak can trap it in Vaaz. This ends the invasion — and sets up the Hasturian Era.

Mythic Challenges (Req. Lv 50) — Endgame encounters unlocked after Null. Summon with a Void Hourglass; each win grants a higher-level hourglass (stronger nightmare). Dying fails the challenge and drops you to a lower-level hourglass; a fresh Lv 1 hourglass can be re-obtained from Null.

Tips

  • Match the boss’s level. You deal 10% less damage per level you’re under a boss — at Lv 45 vs a Lv 50 boss you do only 50% damage. Level up before attempting.
  • Bring Smite for undead heralds and Magus’s barrier.
  • Many bosses need a summon item/ritual — read each quest’s description before traveling.

Anticipated questions

  • Where do I start? The Night Lich (Rec. Lv 10) is the intended first campaign boss — beating it unlocks 11–50 leveling.
  • Why do I do no damage to a boss? Bosses have their own level; you lose 10% damage per level you’re below them.
  • How do I unlock the Hasturian Era? Finish the entire Void’s Invasion campaign (through The Faceless One).
  • What do the essences/Molten Core do? The Molten Core is a vessel; charging it with ancient essences lets you forge artifact weapons.
  • How do I open the End portal here? Collect 12 of the 16 unique eyes — details in To The End.
