Paladins & Priests (RPG Series)

The Holy archetype mod, adding two Tier I spellbooks: the Paladin Libram (melee tank/support, crafted with the also-added Claymore, Great Hammer and Mace weapon lines up through Netherite/Aeternium/Ruby tiers) and the Holy Book (pure caster support). Full matching armor progressions exist for both — Paladin/Crusader plate sets and Priest/Prior robe sets — plus dedicated Holy Wands/Staves and Iron→Aeternium/Ruby Kite Shields. A Monk villager profession (with its own Monk Workbench) sells related gear.

Spells split cleanly by role: the Paladin side gets Judgement (AoE strike + stun), Battle Banner (party-wide attack speed/knockback resistance buff), and Divine Protection (blocks a set number of incoming hits); the Priest side gets Heal/Flash Heal, Holy Shock (heal ally + smite enemy in one cast), a channeled Holy Light beam that heals allies and burns enemies simultaneously, Circle of Healing (AoE heal + absorption), and Barrier — a summoned dome that blocks projectiles, magic, and intruding enemies. Config (paladins/tweaks.json) tunes Battle Banner’s numbers directly: +40% attack speed, +40% ranged/spell haste, +50% knockback resistance, plus a 0.3 knockback strength for Barrier.

Per the pack’s own quest book (e_spell_books chapter), the Paladin Libram is a Tier II hybrid — explicitly described as “a combination of a Warrior and a Priest,” craftable from Tier I books rather than found directly. The same quest groups it alongside two other Tank-flavored Tier II books, Oath of Defiance and Oath of Vengeance (both actually belong to Spellblade Next), as the pack’s three tank-oriented hybrid paths.
