Storage & Inventory Mods
For real auto-sorted digital storage, the pack’s actual answer is Applied Energistics 2 — see Tech & Automation Mods. There is no dedicated “auto-categorize into separate physical chests” mod installed (no Sophisticated Storage equivalent); AE2’s Storage Bus + item filters is the closest thing, or a classic vanilla hopper/comparator sorter.

A tiered line of chests bigger than vanilla’s double chest.
Traveler’s Backpack
Wearable, upgradeable backpacks with real customization. Higher tiers unlock more main storage slots plus a dedicated multi-slot weapon/tool rack for quick-swapping gear, and accept Upgrades (e.g. Crafting Upgrade, Void Upgrade with item filters) installed into their own upgrade slots. Genuinely one of the best early storage upgrades available.
Nether Chested
A chest built from Nether materials holding 8x the usual capacity.
Lootr
Makes chest loot personal — every player who opens a loot chest gets their own copy of the contents, so nobody misses out because a friend looted it first.
Carry On
Pick up and carry single-block tile entities (chests, furnaces, etc.) in your empty hands instead of breaking and replacing them.
Inventory Sorter / Visual Workbench
Inventory Sorter adds one-click sorting within a single inventory (not across multiple chests). Visual Workbench keeps items visible inside crafting tables as you work.
